The Faculty of Engineering at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University has established the Student Support and Welfare Committee (SSWC) to comprehensively address student matters and enhance student welfare. This committee ensures a focused approach to student-related issues, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. It replaces the previous Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities Committee to broaden its scope in supporting students academically, socially, and personally.
The Student Staff and Welfare Committee conducts the faculty student-staff meeting on the second Wednesday of each month.
